Under the Nine Suns

Weiyld is a form of arcane energy that flows from the nine suns. This energy flows out into the Sea of Clouds and is present everywhere. Weiyld is used as a power source by some arcane disciplines such as attunement and helice forging.

Weiyld is invisible to the naked eye and most people go about their daily lives without taking any notice of it.

The weilyd each of the Nine Suns produces is unique and will create different effects when used.

Some natural philosophers argue that weiyld is responsible for most natural phenomena and that the different types of weiyld balance each other. They argue that the most habitable worlds are those that are exposed to an equal portion of each type of weiyld. This argument has some merit, as worlds that lie too close to any one sun are often found to have extreme natural conditions, bizarre wildlife or suffer from strange supernatural effects.
