Under the Nine Suns

Elarin is one of the six bergs that comprise the Vaustian Cluster and is currently part of the Vaustian Republic government. It is approximately the size of modern day Romania.

Elarin is the greatest producer of heavy industrial goods in the Vaustian Republic. As much as forty percent of cloud cruiser and alcon production takes place on Elarin, as well as a great deal of alch refinement.

The city of Arkebis lies on the coast of Elarin. While neither the capitol or largest city on the berg, Arkebis plays an important role as a trade hub. Goods from all over the Vaustian Republic and beyond are bought and sold throughout the markets of Arkebis. Foreign influence often gives Arkebis an exotic air. Many of the citizens enjoy access to rare goods, cheap travel and a wide variety of food. However, black markets, smuggling and piracy add an element of danger to the city's otherwise vibrant nature.
